Who is our client?

CSC-Crewing is seeking a highly skilled Barge Electro Technical Officer (ETO) for our offshore activities. As an ETO, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring all electronic and electrical equipment onboard assigned vessels, including multipurpose pontoons, spreader pontoons, protection layer pontoons, immersion pontoons, and auxiliary equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring operational safety and efficiency in the foreshore operations.

What will be your job?

Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of the Chief Engineer to maintain electrical and electronic equipment onboard.

• Perform maintenance and monitor the operational state of electrical installations on board, including subsea tools when applicable.

• Assist the Chief Engineer in daily tasks, especially those related to electrical handling.

• Coordinate works with onshore technicians to ensure seamless operations.

• Identify and recommend critical spare parts to maintain operational readiness.

• Detect, report, and resolve electrical and electronic problems as they arise.

• Possess a thorough understanding of high and low voltage systems and PLCs.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings effectively to facilitate maintenance tasks.

• Ensure that daily work is carried out in accordance with HSEQ regulations.

• Perform and follow up on the Planned Vessel Maintenance System

What are your qualifications?

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent vocational/technical/engineering education.

• Preferably hold a Certificate of Competency Electro-Technical Rating III/7 or Electro-Technical Officer III/6.

• valid STCW VI/1 Basic Safety Training certificate.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Strong team-work and hands-on mentality.
