What will be your job?
As an ASD (Azimuth Stern Drive) Captain, your primary responsibilities include:
Providing harbor assistance as a tugboat captain.
Safely maneuvering and positioning container ships following the instructions of the harbor pilot.
Demonstrating precise navigation skills in confined spaces, always mindful of your surroundings.
Providing leadership to a crew consisting of a Marine Officer (Maroff) and an Able Seaman (Matroos).
What are your qualifications?
- Substantial sea service on ASD-type vessels.
- Possession of a Master 500GT seafarer's license.
- Holding a valid seafarer's book and a current medical examination.
- Ensuring all necessary STCW certifications are up-to-date.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
- Willingness to work internationally on a 6-week on/6-week off rotation.
